Aviation is at the peak of science and technology developing with an ever-increasing momentum in the world and the Flight Training master's program focuses on the investigation of flight training education, which is one the most important topics of aviation, and the complex processes of this education. Our country has gained important knowledge on the production of domestic and national aircraft, thanks to the great breakthrough achieved in recent years. Defense industry institutions and companies, which contribute to the formation of this knowledge, either recruit engineers with pilot licenses to their R&D and test units or provide necessary training for these licenses to engineers who are already their employees. In this way, they benefit from the knowledge and experience of people who are eligible to operate aircraft. This reduces the number of iterations and costs in the aircraft design process. The aim of this program is to enable the skilled manpower, who will be trained thanks to the courses that will be given in the fields of engineering and social sciences for the aviation sector, where it is a must to ensure the critical balance between cost and security, to handle the problems they encounter while performing their profession from an academic perspective.

Our students will gain knowledge and experience in statistical research in the fields of social sciences, and natural and applied sciences. They will be given the necessary and sufficient knowledge and experience to conduct scientific research in the managerial field of the piloting profession in aviation companies. They will have information about scientific developments in the administrative framework for the piloting profession, as well. In addition, they will have information about managers and entrepreneurs who have adopted universal values in the field of management and attach importance to governance in enterprises where pilots work. Our students, who have completed their undergraduate education in other departments, will take their first steps into the piloting profession and will have the opportunity to examine academic research on management and engineering within the framework of the piloting profession.

The aim of the program is to enable university graduates with a bachelor's degree to acquire knowledge about the piloting profession. Graduates of this program can work in any public or private sector institutions operating in the aviation field and airline companies. Additionally, graduates will have the infrastructure to take initiatives in many areas related to the piloting profession. Graduates will be able to conduct academic research in the aviation industry from a piloting perspective.
